When I became serious about my business on Etsy I knew that I had to tackle branding right away. I produced the bulk of the following graphics over the course of a 10-day free trial of Adobe Illustrator. Having had no previous exposure to vector graphics, I taught myself how to use the program and created a set of images that has served me well across a variety of platforms and media.

Logos

Icon Design

The key visual element in the Snazzy Sassafras logo is a stylized sassafras flower with a gently arcing stem. I created a stacked logo for situations that require an icon or compact image. The elongated version can be modified for banners, business cards, and more.

Typography Design

The logo fonts are Noteworthy and Dancing Scripts, san serif fonts chosen for their clean lines and modern yet whimsical feel. This conveys a sense of lightheartedness while maintain a professional sensibility. This compliments the nature of the business, which includes hand crafted materials ranging from jewelry to whimsical art dolls.

Color Palette

The color palette is based on sage green pulled from the flower icon. Variants are limited to a dark and light version. White is a key element this branding suite. The result is a modern, clean, and minimalist look.
